UMDNJ (New Jersey Med) Application Status

Does anybody know how we can figure out our status at NJMS? I submitted my secondary and payment a long time ago, and I haven't heard anything or seen a status check on their website... Did anybody get a file complete email/letter from them or know how to check status online?

submitted awhile ago too and I've heard nada. I'm guessing they'll mail us something eventually?

Call them.
The lady is really nice and all you need to do is just give your first and last name.
My check is still not cleared yet, but they just told me that it takes a long time to process it.
But they received my secondary. Just waiting for LOR.

Also, you can email them. It takes few days for them to reply. (That's why I called)

I also have heard nothing. I sent in my secondary a loooong a time (over a month), and my letters went a week ago.

I'm assuming we'll start getting emails at some point.

Ditto. If they do start sending e-mails somebody post it in the status page thread.

Also, does anyone have the number we can call?

I received an e-mail when my check and LORs were both received there. I think it helped that I sent the check almost 2 weeks ago.

I think we will hear when file status is complete, like scentimint. My check hasn't cleared yet for UNDNJ, but has for RWJMS. Its been several weeks. Plus, I think a couple of my letters may not be there yet. 🙁 Come on LOR's!!!!!

scentimint-- are you sure you got an email from UMDNJ-NJMS and not RWJ???? It was my understanding that NJMS did not notify applicants of complete status. My check was cashed more than 3 weeks ago and my LORs arrived around the same time (I called to check) but I never got a status email from NJMS, only from RWJ.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially since I don't think Scentimint is applying to NJMS, they don't have BME. Whereas she is applying to RWJ. These NJ schools and their initials. 🙄

Haha, agreed! Thanks for all the replies guys... I was starting to get worried about NJMS because I sent in my secondary at the beginning of July, and I know the check was cashed, etc, but I haven't heard anything from them. At least I'm not alone! Please post if anyone does hear something conclusive though, and to everyone! Hopefully we'll be seeing each other at interviews soon...

ahh, whoops! I did get the e-mail from RWJ. I can't keep all these initials straight! Sorry for the confusion. 🙂
