Anybody have any info on these two programs? i.e. call schedule, drive time, etc....

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

penn state has a really nice internal med program. really great hours, night float, good teaching, absolutely gorgeous hospital (the nicest i've ever been to) - i think call is q4...

the only bad thing is that it's in the middle of nowhere. literally! i think the town's population is less than 20,000 or something like that...it's about 3.5 hrs from nyc, 1 hr from baltimore, and 1.5 hrs from phily...

i'm scheduled to go to cincinatti later in the month...

good luck!

Cincinnati has a good program: night float system (which will even be improved in near future), good attendings, patient care autonomy, strong fellowships. Hospitals are fairly new; and Cincinnati isn't a bad place to live. Nightlife ok, traffic not too bad.
