New here. My daughter is a college soph and considering withdrawing from the semester due to a medical condition that is requiring rest. Wondering how that will look to med school admissions. She could withdraw from just a couple classes or the whole semester. I think withdrawing from the whole semester would be easier to explain on med school application than a withdrawal from a couple classes (might then infer it was due to poor grades). She's been told transcript would not say "Medical Withdrawal" , just "Withdrawal". Or, she could tough out the rest of the semester, but her grades may suffer. She's been diagnosed with post-concussive syndrome. Severe headaches and problems focusing.

I know...she's the one who should be inquiring, not her mom.

And...make sure her medical condition is fully under control before she goes back to school next semester. Do not rush it
