i need help asap..

what is the 600 in the scoring range mean?:scared: if u r taking the practice, what do you think the average score is out of a 48.. {ie is average = 31/48?} 😕what kind of percentile do you feel this score is? what score will it be out of a 600?
:scared:
out of a 48, what is the general score to get a 90% (YES I KNOW IT VARIES FROM TEST DATES TO TEST DATES but there is still an average score for 90%+)for example in 2005 - 435/600 = 95%+; in 2006-425/600=92%+ , in 2007, 421/600 = 90%+.. these r all made up figures, but clearly around 425 to 435 is 90%+..but just in this example..
so what is the real score for 90%+ and what will a 31/48 on all parts of the pcat be when the scores are changed to /600(become out of a 600)..

plsssssssssss anyone.. if u dont know, just post your scores, i'll be able to get what i seek with my eyes..

I think you'll have to work for Harcourt to really understand the grading.

I can tell you that only 40 of the 48 questions are actually graded. The other 8 are being evaluated for potential future test questions.

just 40/48 are graded?? whatttttttt???im also considering texas tech..is there a t-tech pharm school in lubbock ?

when u took the practice , what kind of scores were u getting? how is 600 gotten from 48

There are 8 questions in each subsection that won't factor into your mark because Pearson uses these questions as a diagonistic to see what types of problems they can add into next year's PCAT. And you won't know which 8 they are.

31/48, expect 70% or so, but don't quote me on it. Unless data of the past PCAT results (average, median, stdev, etc) are released, there is no way to predict how well you will do.

To add to above. If you do work for Harcourt and know how the scoring works, then you shouldn't be allowed to take the test unless this scoring process is made public.

Texas Tech's pharmacy program is based in Amarillo and Abilene. After 2 years in Amarillo, you could transfer to Lubbock to complete the program.

hahaha remember the part where i said "i'll be able to get what i seek with my eyes.."... i finally did.. I KNOW HOW MOST OF IT WORKS NOW.. I KNOW HOW TO CALCULATE IT ..all i need to know now is which questions are the 8 that will be skipped..

Good luck with that.

(1/48)^8 chance you'll know all 8 of the experimental questions in each subsection. And ^5 that because there are 5 subsections. Comes out to something like 5.62*10^-68. Basic stats, don't even bother to beat the odds. Good luck to you if you want to waste valuable time while writing the PCAT trying.

lol dont they just multiply your score by 15 to get 600!!!

if you get 30/40 in your math section, isn't that 450/600...

what was ur composite score and percentile.. im trying to figure out what composite i need to make to get a 87%tile lol
