For those of you guys that already took the pcat, For the trig (math) portion of the pcat, do we have to memorize the whole unit circle, or just Quadrant 1? (pi/3, pi/4, and pi/6)

When I took calculus last semester, I would always draw out the whole unit circle when I took my exam, we had an hour to take our exam and drawing that unit circle took 2 minutes. I know the unit circle, but if someone just shouts 5pi/6= ..... I can't do that from the top of my head, I would have to draw the unit circle out and then tell you its (-sqrt 3/2, 1/2).

I don't want to waste any precious time on the math portion of the pcat. So is knowing Quadrant 1 enough for the pcat?

I don't really know the answer to your question but chances are that if this comes up on the test, there will only be one question on it and you can skip it if you don't want to spend too much time on it. It is common for people to run out of time so it really isn't a problem to guess and move on. Those two minutes are too valuable to waste on one problem.
