Just wondering, b/c your sn has three d's, instead of the usual ADIDAS.

I also go here too. I am just taking classes that interest me now. How weird that someone else on the UW campus checks SDN as well....

Umm about 7 years ago or so aim wouldnt let me create adidas because someone else took it. *****!!!

I can't seem to dissociate the word "bolus" from the definition I learned the first time I heard it: a big wad of chewed food in one's mouth.

Well... What is the Ka of that? The term, bolus must be very insoluble in saliva then.

should i even bother applying to UW if i am not a washington resident. i received my undergraduate degree from there as an out-of-stater, alaskan resident(now i live in sunny southen california). does UW give any preferences to there undergrad alumni?

No preference to undergrad alumni (i've heard statistically you're LESS likely to get in if you went to UW as an undergrad). If you're an alaska resident though, you can get in thru the WWAMI program, but if you're a California resident I don't think you have much of a chance.

I see Dr. Samson sometimes. I dont see any of my interviewers at all. I am always in my best behavior whenever I am out and about.

Hey Socal78,

I'm from Minnesota, and I just found out last week I got an interview at UW, so it is possible! In order to be considered if you're out of the WWAMI system, you do need to either be an underrepresented minority or have expressed a desire to work with the underserved . (I qualify for the latter.) I don't know what my chances are of actually being accepted, but at least I got an interview. (And I applied on the last possible day!)

That game was sucky to start with. The Refs were seriously mentally incapacitated to even make good calls. 😡 Either that or they were seriously wanting the east coast to have another super bowl. The Refs made some really really really terrible calls! 😡 I felt real bad for the hawks considering they were screwed over so many times. Well here is to the 06 mariners this year.... (I am hopeful we arent last place in the western division this yr)....

Yeah, it's like the league has already decided who should win, before the game even started! Argh, i shouldn't have watched the game. I'm like the ultimate toxic fan-- I don't remember the last time I watched a sports game (of any kind) where the team I was rooting for won. Why can't my team win for once?!

I am not saying the seahawks didnt have their mistakes. They had a few, but there were times when the hawks could have won the game with the momentum flowing their way, but everytime momentum was mounting for the hawks the refs just ripped out the rug underneath the team.

That TD (supposed TD) from Rothelesberger (Worthlessberger) was not a TD, that ball was outside the chalk. Bah I know why they call the super bowl the biggest stage in pro sports now... Because the outcome is already known!!!

There was only so much adversity that the hawks could deal with, and the SUPER BOWL MVP goes to the Refs!

I am nowhere close to recovery. I had never seen such a thing. Every "controversial" call (personally think wrong call) was against seattle. How that can be? It is Monday morning after this loss and my status has not changed. What is it out there that can chear me up, I am wondering? (I hope my depression is not affecting anybody in a negative way, but you people can understand me probably better than anybody else)

IT'S FEBRUARY ALREADY. Since october, I only heard a few people got accepted, less than 10. I thought they want to fill up their class soon. I'M SO TIRED OF WAITING. ANOTHER MONTH TO WAIT for the NEXT MEETING.

The Game:

Two very important bad calls lost us two touchdowns and the game:
1) The bogus pass interference call on a touchdown reception (yes he touched the defender, but in no way did that interfere with his ability to make an interception.)

2) The bogus holding call on our 1 yd line reception (there was absolutely no holding on the replay!!!.) That would have been an easy TD.

I just called the admissions office and got a bit of a frustrating response: that my application had not been reviewed at the most recent meeting because there were too many applications for them to get through. I wonder how many that is?

year 39% of the applicants who received this letter were eventually
accepted or put on an alternate list."

So, what's the REAL chance of ending up with a seat in the class come fall?
