Hi, has anyone else not heard back within the 4-6 week range that was listed? My application was complete in April and I have not heard back since. I was under the impression that the months of June and July would be solely for waitlisted applicants. The website lists the deadline as the end of June though, so I hope they’re not waiting to mass email the rejections once the deadline passes.

I'm in the same boat, applied two months ago and haven't heard anything.

Yeah I was thinking of just giving them a call tomorrow. This is my first choice program, but soon it’ll be near the point where I’d need to start looking for apartments near my second choice. Here’s to hoping we hear back soon!

anybody know how competitive this program is? I applied on the last day and emailed Emma to ask if there are actually any open seats at this point, she said yes but im wondering how many seats we're all competing for at this point?

Hey guys! Does anyone know about a facebook group (or something similar) to talk with incoming students? I've been accepted for the 2022 cycle and I'm looking for another female SMP student to room with close by.
There is a Facebook group for accepted students! If you haven’t been invited I’d reach out to Emma for the link ◡̈

Just curious, was anyone else waitlisted to the program back at the June 30th deadline? If so, have you heard back from them or been accepted? It says they are accepting materials until this Friday so not sure when they'll give final decisions.

got accepted today! Was wondering if any alumni could tell me which building the classes are in/what the main building for the program is? I'm trying to find housing but it seems there is a main UC campus and then the medical campus is a bit farther away near the hospitals?

Hey! I'm a graduate from the University of Cincinnati's SMP program and was recently accepted into UC's medical school. Please let me know if you have any questions about the program.
mind if I message you? I have a few questions about the qualifying for in-state residency

At the beginning of the year there was a representative from financial aid that gave a presentation about declaring in-state residency. You seem to have done the leg work since the information you found is the same that was told to us. The 12 months starts as soon as you start living in the state so say Aug. 2021 for example. As long as you follow those guidelines you should be viewed as a "in-state applicant" for Ohio. Many of my classmates and the alumni have done this same thing. But if you have more questions about your specific case I would send an email to UC's financial aid office since they handle the in-state stuff.
I was wondering how they gauge if you're self-supporting? What if you have savings from before that you use instead of being employed? And could these savings be from inheritance instead of employment?

Those are definitely questions that would have to be directed to the financial aid or bursar office. I lived off savings for the past year, but I have no clue how deep they're diving to investigate.
