I've recently started looking into the University of Glasgow, but I can't find any admission statistics such as average GPA, hours of experience, etc. that successful North American applicants have. I was wondering if anyone knows this info? I don't want to apply if the average GPA is like 3.9 or something.

If you have interviewed or been accepted by Glasgow in the past, do you mind sharing your info?

Thanks!

i was interviewed and accepted last year. I had an overall GPA of 2.91, but that was inclusive of my BA and my post-bac science classes. my science GPA was 3.65. My experience was both broad and deep, close to 10K hours combined in shelter, small animal, emergency, and large animal. My experience and science GPA got me the interview, and my interview got me the offer.

they're very very big-picture. they'll look at you overall and not focus on one single aspect. if you've got a hiccup in your past, but have a good explanation, they'll say "ok," and move on. they really like you to have a good sense of the field and its realities.

the entry requirements for north american students can be found here.

Thanks! Since my GPA isn't the greatest, I'd like a school that's looking at the big picture. Unfortunately, my GRE scores are my strong point and Glasgow doesn't look at those, does it?
