Hey everyone,

Name is Patrik and I've just been accepted to UMelb's new graduate DVM program.

In terms of financial aid, does anyone any tips on receiving the International Postgraduate Coursework Awards? It states on the webpage that you're automatically applied to these once you accept the offer.

Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of receiving an IPCA? For example, is financial need taken into account?

Basically, any information regarding these IPCA's would be very helpful.

Hey Patrik. Congratulations on being accepted!! I actually do not have an answer to you question but I was hoping you would be able to help me with mine. I am currently applying to University of Melbourne for the DVM program but I cannot get through the application process. I do not understand which option I need to choose for the "Course Type" to correctly choose the DVM program. I tried every single option and the only one I stumbled upon is the PhD program but that is not what I am looking for. Please help if you can.

PS: I am an international student.

I just finished my application, I found it easiest to use the US representative. They were very helpful, answered all my questions within a day or two and they look over your application before its submitted to be sure everything is complete.

Patrik - Did you apply through U Melbourne or a representative? Also, how quickly did you hear about your acceptance after you submitted?
