    G’day everyone,

I am posting this message to inform you that you have an opportunity to meet with one of the University of Melbourne's leaders from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. The Faculty's Associate Dean (International), Professor Lesleyanne Hawthorne, is visiting Canada between Wednesday, March 7, and Wednesday, March 14, 2007.

    Professor Hawthorne

As Associate Dean, Professor Hawthorne heads Australia's top medical program, which is renowned for its breadth and depth of research covering all areas of medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, psychology, public health, rural health and the life sciences. Melbourne is particularly renowned for its Biomedicine and is ranked in the top ten institutions in the world for biomedical research.

The purpose of Professor Hawthorne's visit to Canada is to meet with students who may be interested in studying University of Melbourne programs. She will be holding an information seminar and has set aside time to meet one-on-one with students who wish to speak with her in person. Through both the information seminar and/or the private meeting, you have the opportunity to receive in-depth information about the University, its programs and the Medical/Health Sciences fields, as well as discuss your application.
Professor Hawthorne is visiting the following Canadian cities:
    Kingston, Ontario
    Toronto, Ontario
    Montreal, Quebec
    Vancouver, British Columbia
To view Professor Hawthorne's schedule and visit to Canada, please visit the following website for further details:

    Cheers,

    Matt
