Little one is doing great - he's getting bigger every single day. I can't wait till he gets to that "fun stage" at about 6 months when he's got some personality established and can crawl around and play....

As for working while in school - I'll definitely be doing it. I believe that we have a minimum number of hours that we have to work as interns. However, this is a relatively small committment and I'll likely be adding hours on top of that. However, for the first semester, I plan to start off slowly (workwise) until I can figure out just how much I can work without adversely affecting my grades.
 
Hey guys, I've got yet another pathetic and stupid question. I'm still trying to figure out exactly how they are going through the applications to make decisions. One of my friends who has served on an adcom before told me that they went through the files alphabetically.

So, for those who have been accepted (and for those who haven't as well) what is the first letter of your last name?

I'm a "W", so if they are going through alphabetically, I'll be one of the last. I'm sorry if there are any people out there with the last name of Zymanski....😀

oupharmD - I was just going back through this thread looking at the stats of those who've been accepted and those who haven't...I can't believe you haven't been accepted yet. Every facet of your application that I can see looks to be outstanding...What's going on here? Between the two of us, we probably have the top 2 PCAT scores on this thread...
 
I just received my letter and I got in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooo happy. I want you to know that you can do it, especially if I did with a 3.1 and a PCAT of a 67, but I have a brilliant personality🙂 . I just wanted say to youdidntgetin, you are a jerk. You probably wont get in, and if you did I would punch you in school if I knew who you are. Thanks!! The only thing that worries me is that I have absolutely no pharmacy experience.

Hopefully they are saving the best for last.

Lets try to stay positive.
 
I was in the first interview group. I had absolutely no pharmacy experience. I got my letter yesterday, and I am going to go to the OKC campus. Seriously, what nerve that youdidntgetin must have to come on to this thread and talk like that. It is those kind of people that make this world depressing at times. I hope that person sees this and wants to make something of it, because that really infuriates me. Good luck to everyone else.

Ah don't worry about it...I'm thick-skinned and it didn't bother me. The person can't have any idea who I am so I'm not worried about it. Besides, they haven't been back so it was probably just some wacko screwin' around on the internet, trying to have fun.

Anyway, congratulations again on your acceptance.
 
My wife is considered an internation status...so we actually e-mailed Jennifer and told her that we had a Green card interview and everything turned out well. Jennifer then called back and told her that she was accepted to the Tulsa campus which was yesterday when we heard the good news. Only thing that worries me is that she will have to move up there since I'm going to be an intern at St. Anthony's hospital. So I would appreciate the people that will be attending the Tulsa campus to help my wife if she ever needs something. Thanks

I got my official letter today. The one that asks for the 500 dollar deposit and asks to confirm or deny your acceptance. It contains a more detailed acceptance letter along with a little info sheet that contains my OU HSC ID number and my other info. It makes everything seem a little more real (I was having to pinch myself). Anyway, you guys hang tight, I bet they mailed the other letters today, which means most of you will get your acceptance tomorrow!!!!! 😉

I am trying not to give up hope, but I find myself breaking down. About to crawl in bed and not wake up until mail comes tomorrow.

Good thing my daughter is with her father this weekend.

You get 10 calendar days from X date, my date was April 10.

Thanks, that doesn't seem like much time, after waiting so long for OU to respond🙂 , I haven't heard from OU yet,:luck: but hopefully tomorrow.
 
nothing yet 🙁 I really hope they were mailed out today, however Jennifer said she was going to send an email after they were sent out and didn't get an email from her today...I can't take this wait much longer, either can my family. I think I've been a little impatient lately. Take care all and keep your heads up.

Hey, I've already told my neighbors not to worry if they hear me screaming - it's just me doing a screaming lap around the block getting some of this pent-up tension out....😀

i didn't know my husband was writing here!!! ok, i'm DrStevo's wife..hahaha
anyways....i didn't get my letter yet, but i know i got into tulsa campus....
Jennifer called me and asked if i mind goin' to tulsa b/c okc campus was full....she said if i just wanna attend okc campus, they gonna put me on the waiting list, but if i'm willin' to goto tulsa, they'll send me acceptance letter...so i said "of course i'll goto tulsa" haha 😀

I am excited for you 😀 but it doesn't make me feel very good to hear OKC campus is full since I haven't heard and I wanted OKC.🙁

no, she called me on wednesday, but i didn't get it....so i called her back on thursday morning...
oh, and she said she called me because i just marked on okc campus as preference.....(not both campuses) so if you marked on both campuses....i don't think she would call you....well, i really don't know..hehe

It's freaking cold..high of 55, windy - coming straight down from the land of thieves.., and cloudy. And we had tornado last night....

So I think the lake will be clear of other fisherman.. so I'm going to be the village idiot and take the RV down to the lake and fish like a fool...and most likely will get skunked.

You may have hijacked 20 to 30....I'm in the hundreds...
