From my understanding, Veronica mentioned that there will be 3 more interview dates: 1 on 2/25 and 2 more dates in March, which are still undecided.

I waited so eagerly for the mailman to come... and he totally skipped my house 🙁I guess no mail today..

Has anyone received anything yet from the 01/28 interview date??😕

I GOT MY ACCEPTANCE LETTER TODAY!!!!! 👍 :clap:

Hang in there sweet, I think you should get it on Monday, I got mine today, but I live in Fresno, and I think SOCAL would take an extra day for sorting. Just look for the big giant envelope in your mailbox. I got my fingers crossed for you too!!!! I'm a grown ass man and I started to cry, and my son asked me what was so funny because he thought I was laughing..... :-/

I've worked my way through school from the moment I got out of high school, while supporting a family, so this was a major culmination point for me. I've been working towards becoming a pharmacist for a long time, and I was almost on the brink of just settling for my position as a corporate pharmacy auditor because, I loved my job and the money was pretty good.

I'M SOOOOO glad I didn't give up.

Thank you so much Ryan! I really appreciate it! Man, you should take even getting an interview at UCSF as a sign that you are incredibly competitive, that in itself is a major accomplishment! You're going to get in! Though I'd still rather you join me here at UOP! 😀

I'm going to miss visiting the stores ... I really enjoy coming around to see everyone, but this was my goal and I'm glad I made it this far.

UOP was my only choice because of proximity, and I have a family with kids. Both my fiance and I work the same company, and there weren't too many places we could choose from to transfer to for jobs that was reasonably priced in California besides Stockton. We wanted to be able to stay close to home as well, and Stockton is only about 2 hours from where I live.
 
This is by far one of the happiest days of my life ... I too got the acceptance letter today. UOP has been my number one choice and cant wait to start school coming fall 😀

Thanks....make sure you don't quit....have them change your status to an intern while you are in school....that's what i'm doing....I need to find out who are DM is THIS WEEK (you know because it changes on a weekly basis :laugh::laugh::laugh: )and find out how many hours per week I have to work to stay on the payroll. Once I find out i'll let you know unless you find out before I do. Yeah hopefully I'll hear some good news soon from both schools....I should hear back around the same time!!!!! Congrats again....you deserve it 👍

The hospital where I work does not have any affiliations in Stockton but since I have hospital experience, I am hoping I will be able to find a hospital out there to work at. I am moving all the way from Texas.

I applied to both schools as well, but luckily for me I was accepted to my local school so didn't have to go through the agony of choosing, because I would have been in the same predicament. When I went to Pacific OR, the weather was absolutely gorgeous, and Kieran was just so sweet. UoP I feel is certainly more reputable, but they've been around for so much longer too.
I think either choice you make will be a good one, and if it's just based on tuition and location alone, I can certainly understand your choice on Pacific OR.

Hi Kpharmacy, I was at the Feb. 4th interview and I am getting pretty nervous, too! A friend of mine also interviewed the same day as us and she got a letter yesterday saying she's been waitlisted. My mail already came for today and I didn't receive anything. Good luck and let us know when you hear something! 🙂

I was at the Feb. 4th interview and I received my acceptance package on Monday. I'm sure you will get yours this week. Good luck!

The email came first. It was an informal acceptance notification. The real letter (big envelop) came a few days later.

This was back in October/November though (1st round of acceptances), so I am not sure if that's why.

They change it up every so often. My friend was Tier 1 and received the interview invite via e-mail only. I was Tier 3 and received the interview invite via regular mail. I only received the acceptance through regular mail. I wouldn't worry.

I was also Tier 1 and I also received the interview via email only. I guess it changes with each tier.😕

I was Tier 1, but received a hold letter until January, I went up to UOP to talk to her personally in early December, and coincidentally Veronica told me that I was going to be invited for an interview while I was there, and I received my formal invitation to interview only by snail mail. I actually haven't seen anything in my personal email in quite some time. I interviewed January 28th (It was the earliest available spot at the time that worked for me). I received my acceptance in the mailbox two weeks after the interview.

Oh cool. I haven't really heard anything from then in a few months. I remember them telling us that we probably won't hear anything from them until April regarding out Financial Aid packet and then maybe June/July with instructions about orientation.
 
Anyone else attending one of the two interview dates in March? I am not sure if they are the two last dates for UOP this cycle but I hope that there are still spots left open in the class :scared:
 
I had the Feb 4th interview and I just got my acceptance package on Saturday! 🙂🙂🙂
