Nope. The letter said to call after May 20. It'll probably take a few days for them to get everything sorted out.

Where did all the hopeful Badgers go? How many are hanging on to the waitlist?

Nope. The email said they don't anticipate much movement in the next 2-3 weeks. I would think the few weeks after May 15 is when there'd be the most WL movement? Think this is a standard response to keep us patient or they really don't think they'll need the waitlist this year?

This is an update concerning your position on the waitlist for admission into the entering class 2007.
The class is currently full and we don't anticipate much movement the next 2-3 weeks. I will send updates every week, unless you hear from us via postal letter. Thank you, and good luck!

This is absolute speculation so take it for what it's worth, but I get the feeling the class may be overfull again this year, just as it was two years ago. My reasoning is two part: 1) They extended the deadline by which accepted students could request a year deferal from May 1 to June 1. 2) I applied for a deferal and was told it would be granted before the committee even had the chance to review it.

Seems to me they want people to defer, which suggests that they may have too many students again.

Again, total speculation on my part, but I thought I'd offer my input.

you are prob right...first i was on the top 25% of the waitlist, then i got an awful number, and last week i got my rejection letter--if they are rejecting people on the waitlist then they must expect not to use it much
