School 1: BU

Pros:
  • Great location, Boston!
  • great school reputation
  • only 2 year ( international dental program)
  • tuition is cheap 220k, plus living might be near 300k
Cons:
  • only 1 year to see patients
  • big class size 100
  • living expensive
School 2: UNMC
OOS
Pros:
  • very friendly faculty
  • small class size, only 4 , will be integrated to the D3 Class
  • living costs reasonable
  • 2 year to see patients
Cons:
  • tuition+ living 340K
  • quite, not too much fun to do (like roller coasters , shows)
  • 29 months
I am living in CA, right now not sure I want to become a specialist or not.

Please help me to decide, thank you in advance!

Yes, I got accepted to both.
I have family( my husband and kids) and they will stay in California at least during my first year in school

If boston is only 24 months I would probably choose that program. Save yourself 5 months of school + it will cost less as well. The only thing is the flights from Boston to Cali will be long.
