I am fully aware that there are no "official rankings" of osteopathic medical schools. However, I am deciding where to apply and don't have a very good idea of the level of acceptance at each school. I want to cover the gambit in terms of applying to harder schools as well as ones that are known to be a bit less competitive. I would appreciate any helpful websites, but moreso just common knowledge on what you all have heard. Thank you ahead of time..

With a little effort you can easily find all of this information yourself.

1. Go to www.aacom.org, where you will find a wealth of information including a listing of/links to all US osteo schools. What you don't find at www.aacom.org you will find by visiting the web site of each school (e.g., av'g stats of admitted students).

2. Try using the search function on SDN. You will find many threads discussing each school - admissions, interviews, pros, cons, etc.
