SDN, I would appreciate some help -- I am currently taking summer classes at a State University...I am now finding it difficult to manage a job and doing well in the class. I am considering dropping the class, but alas, drop add/period is over.

My question -- when applying to medical school, am I required to send transcripts from all colleges I attended to AAMC? I realize that not sending all my transcripts might be unethical, but considering the situation I am in, I believe this is the only way out.

Thanks.

yes you are required. They can take your acceptence away, your degree away, and make sure you never get accepted ever again.

Are you taking your classes at Umass Boston?

Have you gone to your professors and discussed your situation? I don't see why they wouldn't be able to drop you out after the student add drop date as long as you are nice to them and provide a good situation.

yeah, try talking to the prof or the dean or whoever is in charge of your transcript. if the reason is good, they should be able to help you out.

if not, a withdraw isn't the end of the world. i withdrew from 2 classes during undergrad and still landed a spot in a US MD school.

Yes, I have made the class p/f and will retake the class (physics) over the course of the year when it is more managable. Will AAMC question P/F grades?

Thanks for all the help.
