It's been over 2 weeks for me since PharmCas mailed out my apps. It took two weeks for something on my file to show up on the status checker, but it still doesn't say completed.

Congrats to all those who made it to Tier 1 and 2. I'm really nervous now, because I'm not sure if I can make it by Tier2 (next monday). I'm nearly 80% done with the personal statement and my LORS are completed. How long did it take you to fill out supplementals? I'm working on their supplemental question right now, "why do you want to go to our school?". Does anyone have any suggestions or tips as to answering this type of question. I've search their website, but I still can't find out what UOP is unique on. Thanks pharm. friends!

same for me...iam quite worried....i sent in everything before august. but pharmcas didnt mail out till 8/11 ><''' and its 8/26 and they havent updated anything on the status thingy =(

Can somebody answer this for me- on PharmCAS what happens when I hit e-submit button. I mean, will it give me the option of selecting what I want to send to a particular school? For example, I will have four letters of rec in there, but I have to select which ones go where, will I have that option? I am sure the process is something like that, but I just want to maker sure.

I think when your application gets complete, there will be a date on the part where it says application completed on the online supplemental checker. Mine says 8/1 does that mean I made it for tier 1 ??
I hope I did , because I'm pretty sure I turned in all my stuff way early on.

Anyways .... I hope to see all of you at the UOP open house event !!!

Tier 1: August 1
Tier 2: September 1
Tier 3: November 3

For Tier 2 and 3, I think those are the dates or at least somewhere around those dates.

For those who have everything confirmed already on the status checker, do you have a date in the "File Complete Date" line? All my other entries except for PINT and PCHK are dated before the tier 1 deadline, but I still have a blank complete date. I'm afraid of missing tier 2, much less tier 1, despite already having everything finished.

For those with a pharm tech license, does the copy you need to send in appear as a line in the status checker? I sent mine in a long time ago, but there isn't even a spot designated for it in my status to indicate that it's missing. It would suck if my application has been held up because it got lost in the mail... 😡

She stated that my application is complete by the Tier 1 deadline and is under review. I mean, I couldn't send one because I haven't even taken a class at that school before. To make sure, you should give them a call to verify. Yeah I do have a date next to "File Complete Date", which is 7/29.
The pharmacy tech license is in the status checker as well.

My stuff was done before August 1st, and the status checker only started giving information less than a week ago. Even then, I still seem to be having issues, so I'm planning to give them a call.

7/29 I think it was the date they received my supplemental application not the date they actually completed it.

8/20 was the date that they posted everything onto the status checker.

UOP is a year round program. $64,000 is divided into 3 semesters. On average, it isn't that scary I think.

To be honest, tuition at UOP is quite expensive [IMO]:
3yrs tuition (including room & board) = 64k + 64k + 42K = 170k eeeeek! 😱

although...if you want it badly...well worth the investment!

its probably because they have your email. check your status on uop website.

btw, you mailed your supplemental? i didn't know you could do that....i thought everyone just e-submitted.

I started my supplementals as soon as it became available, but did little by little since I was getting ready for finals and graduation at the time. I had them all done by August 1st. Just had to wait for my LORs.

As for why do you want to go to their school, just be honest and give all of the reasons why you would want to go there. I was told not to try to "fluff up" the essay by rambling about nothing. Be straightforward and you should be good to go 🙂 Good luck and get it done! Deadline for Tier 2 is right around the corner!

They're going to send you a letter confirming that they've received your application and in that letter they will include your application ID number.

I wouldn't worry about them not updating till after maybe 4 weeks. It takes awhile and probably going to be delayed more and more as application turn-in increases exponentially as deadline approaches.

submitted pharmCAS July 31st...sent supplemental via USPS July 31st.
still nothing on the status checker....

got this message though:

"Please note that from October 1 to December 1, there may be few day's delay in processing our daily mail due to the high volume we receive. The date we enter on this page always reflects the date an item was received at Pacific or PharmCAS, rather than the date it is entered in our system. PharmCAS sends letters of recommendations separately and it is common for them to be added after the application. In addition, the Admission Office will be closed December 26 through January 1 for Winter break . No document processing will occur during that time."

Anyone else submit end of July hear anything?
This is just as nerve wrecking as described by last years applicants.

you won't be able to check online unless you get that app ID. try giving them a call.

Did you submit it online or mail in a paper application?

I just checked my email, I actually submitted my supplemental online on 07/30, and the letter I received from them was postmarked on 08/05. But like someone mentioned, maybe the closer we are to the deadlines the number of applications increases so it takes longer to process and send out letters and what not.

But if you are concerned you should call.

if you don't have a contact for that specific section, you type "no contact". That's what I did.

Yes, they only require 2 LORs. But one has to be from a pharmacist and the other must be from a professor taken at a school within 3 years.
