Just wondering if that's what you all were waiting for. I submitted supplemental on Sept 1st.

I had a similar situation few weeks ago. I called the admissions office to make sure that they received everything and the lady told me that they received everything from me.

yay! me too! except my complete date says Sept 1. I had turned everything in before the Tier 1 deadline, and every item has a received date from July except for the educational background chart. Gosh darn it, I messed up on it and had to send in another one recently, so I guess it's Tier 2 for me then...

There should be a date next to the line that says "File Complete Date." Otherwise it will just be blank.

For those trying to figure out what they're missing, here are all the fields I had dated before I got a file complete date: transcripts, education background chart, pharmacist recommendation, academic recommendation, application fee, PharmD supplemental essay, essay, signature, PharmD supplemental Appl, and resume.

PCHK (pre-req check) and PINT (interview?) will be blank for now.

Yea, like Mochi said, there is a date alongside everything except the two mentioned and I think the most important date for now is the file complete date.

I think UOPs website says that as long as pharmCAS is submitted by the deadline with all of LORs submited by the deadline, along with supplemental, you'll be in that according tier.

I have an upate on PCHK. I think it is the pre-reqs form. I have also received a letter from UOP saying that they have reviewed and verified all my pre-reqs.

I don't believe any interviews have been offered yet; however, that's the next step after pre-req checks are done. Last year interview invites started to get sent out at the end of September, so we're definitely getting close. 👍

🙂 I just got home late last night from Stockton. What did you think of the open house? I went to all sessions except for the admissions one and drove around the main undergraduate campus before heading home. I was in the group with the student panel as my first session.

open house was fun! student panel was funny hahahha...one girl in my group asked " are there any boba places around here?" HAHA i was cracking up....it was very informative. i went to all the sessions. the admission's one was very helpful actually. i learned that we can update our resume that we sent in and it won't affect our tier date! so anyone who hasn't, if you have updated info, send in your resumes to uop!!!

Yeah, the open house was very informative, and basically it gives you a glimpse of what being a student at UOP would be like .

The student tours were done by mostly P1 students, and it they were mostly from the pre-pharmacy advantage transfers. It was amazing how young they all were. By the time they graduate, they would only be 24 years old!!!

I spoke to a couple of them, and they really have it easy compared to what we as transfer students have to go through to get in the program. All they have to do is make a 2.7 GPA from their pre-pharmacy coursework and past the interview to be guaranteed a spot in the pharm D program. They don't even need lors, work experience, all that good stuff ..... 🙂

But , they are very nice and hardworking people though. I think one of the main reasons the average age at UOP is around 24-25 is because half of the class are students who are from the pre-pharmacy program and the other half are transfer students who have an average age of 26-28.

Oh well, good luck to all the applicants out there !!! They are sending out interviews in a week's time, so get ready to stalk and wait for the postman !!!!!! 🙂

Eek! Get ready Tier 1 😛 My UOP application status on their website isn't even set up yet so I won't be expecting any (good or bad) news anytime soon. They probably just received my PharmCAS items.

So everything on the status checker has a date next to it (08/01/08 or before)...So I made 1st tier. However, my file complete date has nothing next to it.

Anyone else experience this? I hope I get considered for 1st tier interviews....Sept 22nd is around the corner.

My application status checker shows a Tier 1 completion date but I did not receive a letter. If your file completion date is Sept. 1st, then you are 1st Tier, not 2nd. They extended the Tier ranking dates due to a PharmCAS outage.

Actually dwein2007, if you made it to Sept 1st, you are in 2nd Tier. Tier one's deadline was on or before August 1st. Because PharmCAS was down during SEpt 1st, UOP has extended their 2nd tier deadline to Sept 5th as well for 2nd Tier. My friend called and checked.

I had some questions about this whole tier business. So, what exactly has to be received in order to be considered for placement in a certain tier?? For example, is tier placement in accordance with when your pharmcas is received, your supplemental and pharmcas is received, both, or when ALL your materials are received???? When all materials are received. The file completion date will place you in a 1 of 3 tiers.
