Does anyone know if the deferrals get updates continuously through the Tier 3 interviews or as people turn down acceptances? Or do we only get to find out at the very end of all the interviews?

I remember after I paid and got that confirmation, my InsidePacific kinda died. There was no further confirmation, nothing to click, nothing to read. I emailed Veronica and she said once you've gone through the steps and paid there's nothing further to do, so I wouldn't worry about it.
 
are they even doing tier 3 yet? or they did it already. Because im in tier 3 and i havent heard anything yet since october =( i am sadden. 😡

I thought Tier 3 wasn't until around January. Hopefully you'll hear something soon! :xf:
 
Inside pacific is a horrible site and it's either down or not showing you what you want. Sooner or later the school does fix its mistakes.
 
Why are people left on hold usually?
 
For those who got the acceptance email on 12/3... Have you received the packet on the mail yet?

Yeah, I received mine like 2-3 days later. I live in socal. You should probably give them a call or something if you still haven't received anything. It might've gotten lost in the mail or something. Good luck.
 
could you guys tell me exactly how to accept the offer online, as in the web page and any directions they gave you on the packet, I think mine got lost in the mail. Thanks!

Even with the directions, you can't accept the offer w/o the packet b/c the packet gives you your login ID and password that are needed to enter the website. Probably best to contact UOP.

I just got my pchk date this week....how long usually before they invite for an interview??? I am tier 3, by the way.

i was in tier 3, and i got an interview invite via email mid december! so i think they might of gone through everyone already? and now doing interviews for tier 3 in january, then go back and look at the holds and etc in march to fill the spaces left? i hope this helps krystal! and if anyone interview already and want to help me out, feel free to pm me. it hope help a lot. im really nervous thinking about it!

Don't be nervous! The interview was so relaxing.
 
I got a letter last week about my in progress/planned courses. is this the pchk? will I ever get an interview? and how do you know what tier you are?

I received a financial aid flier in the mail last week from UoP but I'm on hold after my interview. Am I supposed to just ignore this? Did rejected people also receive these? Or am I expected to fill this thing out on the off chance that I will still get in?

Last year I received one before being offered an interview or put on hold or anything. There's nothing to fill out besides the FAFSA, which you'll need for any school. UOP wants a copy of your tax returns, but I believe you don't need to worry about that until you've actually filed your taxes anyway.

hey guys.. i'm from the last tier and I havent received anything other than a letter saying that if anything is missing they will let me know & the financial aid card... i applied on the last day, NOV 3rd. anyone else apply around same time and here back from the school with interview or atleast hold or something??

same situation here. i sent everything mid october. no response here either except for the fin aid stuff

I spoke to Veronica Semler today. She said that Tier 3 candidates are in the process of evaluation.
 
I am tier 3 as well...still waiting to hear about an interview. I had a pchk date of dec 15. Hopefully i will hear something this week!
 
I'm most likely to attend UOP Pharmacy Fall 2009. Are there any suggestions for housing off campus? I would prefer somewhere close and really nice. I'm not too concern about the price. Thank You.
 
Did anyone confirm their acceptance via regular mail for UOP? If so, did you get a letter or email confirming that UOP received it? I had to mail mine cause I was having trouble with inside pacific and I emailed them to see if they received it but I was just told that checks would be cashed after the holidays. Anyone in a similar situation & waiting?

Received my tier 3 interview invitation today via e-mail. it says to call the school asap to schedule an interview. i hope they have an interview available when i travel to SF for my ucsf interview

Congratulations! I drove there from la, but it seemed like most of the people from my day that were coming from socal chose to fly instead. Good luck to you!

Do any of you guys know how many more interview dates UOP will have since they are doing tier 3 right now. I am worried and wonder if I will have a chance. Thanks!

and lastly, I graduated with a BS in Business Administration, and when I talked to Ms. Semler, she recommended that I take upper division science classes to gain a stronger background. Do you think that they are waiting to see my Fall 08 grades?

I am sooooo nervous!

Can anyone tell me what the chances are for applicants on hold after interview of getting in still? I tried looking for old UoP pharmacy threads but I had trouble finding it. Even a link to an old thread will suffice. Thanks!

RXFanatic my PCHK date was 11/4/2008 and I have no idea if they do tier 3 interview according to PCHK dates. Yes, they are probably waiting to see how you do in those upper division science classes before coming to a decision if you haven't really taken any yet. And this waiting to hear from pharmacy schools is making me stressed and nervous to :scared:!
 
I noticed that some people last year mentioned sending additional documents if you're on hold like extra LORs. I hadn't heard of this before but is that really something that people usually do? Also, I started another job after my UoP interview teaching kids in underserved communities. Should I/ is it advisable to inform them of these types of updates in addition to the PharmCAS academic update?
