Hey guys! I am currently debating between UOP and USC. I am leaning toward UOP but am a little hesitant as it is an accelerated program. Can any current or potential students tell me more about the curriculum/schedule of a first year student at UOP?

I noticed that it says we would be doing class 1 amalgams in week 3 on the schedule, but I thought I heard we would no longer be working with amalgam?? @Auntymarkovnikov @jbarnett2020 @DMikes @artist2022

Idk cause I don't go there but @chives_irvine is someone who posted yesterday who also happens to be a D1, maybe they can help

I also think you should join the 2022 FB group cause there should be current students posting on there too.

UOP is great for general dentistry! If you're planning on specializing, it can be a rough ride as you have little time off to build your resume.

USC is going to put you at 700K in debt. IDK what UOP is but if its less than that, I would go with UOP.
