not to brag... but how does this scholarship work? is it 30 over the 4 loan periods or is it 30 k per loan period?????

It's given out on a $ per quarter basis. In your case, $2,500 per quarter.

OP, you're talking about UPenn, right? not U of Pacific?

I thought Dugoni didn't give out any academic scholarships?

I'm not sure about the details, but past threads regarding Dugoni have stated that ppl received scholarships.

Hm... It must be one of those ridiculously hard to get scholarships like Columbia's.

Pacific gives out the Dean's Scholarship. If you receive it, they will tell you about it in their acceptance phone call. If you don't, then well... they won't mention it.

I'm getting the scholarship but I'm not sure why. My stats are a bit above average but not to give me a 30,000$ scholarship for. They definitley take more than that into consideration. Does anyone know how many of these scholarships UoP has?

If I had gotten that scholarship, I'd be more towards going to UOP. Since I didn't, UCSF seems like a better choice for me in terms of cost. My heart is telling me UOP, but my brain is telling me UCSF. Anyone else in this dilemma?

Go to where you think you will be most happy. UOP and UCSF are great schools so you would do well in either. I think everything evens out because UOP is 3 years, giving you an "extra" year to practice.

I'm in your boat. I think Pacific's curriculum is designed better and I like the overall culture of the school more.
