Regarding the Recommendation letters required, UoP's website says: Three letters of evaluation. If your undergraduate institution has a pre-health advisory committee, a committee evaluation is recommended. Otherwise you must submit two letters of evaluation from science instructors and an additional letter from a health care professional or employer. "

This is a bit vague to me.

Does this mean that ONE committee evaluation is fine to submit in lieu of 3 letters? Or that A committee letter can be submitted in addition to two letters from science instructors?

I'm still a few years away from applying to d-school, but I'd just like to clear up any confusion early 🙂

Also, University of Washington's info seems vague about this issue as well. Are they ok with a committee letter or do they need three separate letters?

lol way to be on top of things. You probably don't need to worry about the details just yet though. Just impress your instructors for the time being. To answer your question, I think the committee letter can be used in lieu of all three LORs. This is essentially how it works at most schools.
