i just have a general question for people who applied to Pacific. all my AADSAS LoR were sent at the same time way back in July, but for some reason UoP only says they received two of my 5 letters on their status website. anybody with a similar problem?

that's weird. I sent all mine at the same time and they got there all fine. Did you send it together in the same envelope, or separately? Maybe they haven't gotten around to updating the website. Just call and ask if they recieved it.

Mine was indicated as received but under status it said Pending because "still waiting for letters," even though four were received. I called and the admissions person indicated that they thought a letter from a biomed eng. prof was not considered to be a "biology" LOR, so they put my application on hold. I worked it out by calling, so give them a call tomorrow. It will take a week for the website to update. Good luck.

Yes, I think so.

UOP's website was always months behind last year when I applied there. It would say "file under review, check back in 2 weeks" and would stay like that for 3 months. I called a few times and always got a rude receptionist who wouldn't help me at all or tell me anything about my status, while I have a friend who called and they were very helpful to him over the phone. They told him all about his app. status and what his chances were for an interview. So good luck.

aadsas sent out my application w/ LoR early august and all other schools have received my LOR, however, UoP says i'm missing them. this sucks.

Give them a call and see why some aren't listed. It could just be that they didn't update yet or in the worst case, they were somehow lost. I remember when I applied, only 2 of mine got sent in with the AADSAS app, so I just faxed the 3rd one to them.
