Hi,

So I'm trying to complete update letters/letters of interest to some schools and I just found the submission id's for two high impact papers that I'm second author on. I've tried to "google" the submission ID's to make sure that my name comes up on the search, but that doesn't happen.

Does anyone know if these submission id's are useful for update letters? How would the adcom know that I'm on the papers?

Thanks

Write out the citation as you normally would: Most Glorious First Author, Her Sidekick, Lab mate 1, lab mate 2, rebel scum, His Holy Highness the PI. "How We Made, and inadvertently released, an airborne HIV-E.bola hybrid." Either Science/Nature or Irrelevant. 2012

Then include the submission ID and the contact author's contact information. If they don't believe you they can follow up on it.

If it hasn't been accepted, it's not worth writing about.
