What's the proper format for an update letter? How do I start/end? Also, is there a list of schools that aren't a fan of updates?

Rosalind Franklin does not want updates pre-interview. Colorado also does not accept updates. There were a couple others than only accepted updates in the way of official transcripts, but I can't remember which ones off the top of my head.
