We share your joy, but such an update would not spur MD schools into accepting you, too, if that is your purpose.Hi! I was wondering if someone could give me some insight or an opinion on updating my MD schools with a recent DO acceptance. I am unsure of how this information would sit with an MD admissions committee. Thank you!!
You should send them the update, but only to schools who are open to such update emails. Make sure that when you send the PDF or Word document over, you elaborate on this accomplishment; they don't want to read just one line - they want to hear everything about the school and application process. Think of it as a second secondary application, where they can get a better sense of who you are as a person.I am unsure of how this information would sit with an MD admissions committee
If you do this, why not also add in a request for a full-ride scholarship. You should send them the update, but only to schools who are open to such update emails.
