Updating AMCAS

Hi,

Quick question - Some schools have had trouble communicating with me through my email with a @live.com domain. I just updated AMCAS with a Gmail account. Do I need to notify all the schools I have already sent secondaries to of this change, or will it be automatically updates in their database, causing future messages to be sent to the new address?

Most schools periodically check AMCAS for contact info updates, but I don't think it would hurt to email the schools just to make sure they don't miss out on your contact info update.
