Updating app with grades?

Are any of you guys updating your applications with this semesters grades? Is this seen as overkill or do adcoms appreciate this? If so, should I send an official transcript or just a computer printoff?

Send it in letter form. They appreciate your extra interest in their school. Just do it!

Absolutely send it in, unless your gpa became worse.

I sent in my official transcript, but I suppose a photocopy or letter would be sufficient.

UCSF asks for a letter specifically. I suppose an official transcipt would be sufficient, but the more personalized the letter the better.
