Updating medical schools with awards and upcoming poster presentations?

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone is staying sane and taking care of themselves while waiting for IIs. I was recently awarded for my work as a Teachers Assistant, being named to the Spring 2022 List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students, and being recognized as Outstanding. In November, I have a research poster presentation, and there is also a poster being presented by my PI, in which I am the second name. Are these achievements worth updating the medical schools that I have applied to? Thanks in advance, and good luck to all!

Congrats on the teaching accolade and the research presentations! That being said, I probably wouldn't update schools on this. Generally, it's better not to provide unsolicited updates to schools once AMCAS is in. You can definitely bring it up during interviews though!
