Updating your file

If you want to update your file for a school, how much detail should you go into.
Should you write a letter expressing your undying love for the institution, or a list of new things you've done?
ie. just the title of a recently published paper, or send the whole paper?
Should I send more recc. letters?

I would write a letter and include the update information in the letter, along with a few words about your continued interest in the school.

Never, ever, ever, send the whole paper! (Advice I got from adcoms) I just sent a citation of the paper and the address of the website where they could view it online.
