Has anyone gotten an invite recently? (My applications were complete in mid November)..... 😴

I just got an invite from U. Penn on Tuesday - I was complete on 10/25/04. There's still time!!!

complete mid nov. too and nothing from either school yet; penn seems like they are backed up; ive called before and they seem exasperated to say the least...

Got a columbia invite about early/mid december. I dunno when I was complete because of LOR losses and such, but I believe all that got cleared up around late November.

Penn will be issuing invitations until mid-January, but that's the end. I called the office the other day, that's what they told me. I'm starting to get a little worried...although really, I knew I didn't have a shot from the beginning. Good luck everyone.

man, that is great! good luck with it...I think I would fall on the floor clutching my chest should Columbia show me some love. It's one of the few schools that would entice me to leave the South. 😀

I've visited a few times (I live in Brooklyn) and feel really comfortable there....Seems like a great school, which is not exactly news to anyone I'm sure.

Btw, when was your application complete?

Thanks for the best wishes Whitney! In your situation, there aren't many other schools that can beat Columbia's location. I sent in my secondary at the beginning of November, but realized I didn't include a picture of myself until the adcoms emailed me with a notice. I finally was complete at the beginning of December. Given that the turnaround from interview notice to interview date is only two and a half weeks (for me at least), this might mean Columbia does not backlog their interview schedule way into the spring like other schools have.
