I recently acquired a full set of used BR books from 2011 and was wondering if there was any legitimate reason to buy new ones due to a test change/change in book content/etc.? Will I be at any major disadvantage using these books even though they're only a couple years old? I would think not, but I was just curious as to what others would think.

You won't be at any sort of significant disadvantage. Maybe BerkReviewTeach can correct me if I'm wrong, but the only major thing they changed was the O-chem books by reducing content and adding passages.

Nothing has really changed except it seems the grading scale is more forgiving. In bio I'd get a 60% and that's a 7, but in the new books that seems to be a 9.
