Hey everyone! I wanted to start a thread for this cycle for all who are interested in applying. How is everyone's application going so far? Are there anyone alumni of the program willing to answer questions?

I submitted my application yesterday. I went all out on the essays and personal statement. I think I made a great case for myself, but I didn't get a chance to write descriptions of my activities besides listing them. I hope that doesn't bite me in the ass.

App complete 02/20, been under review since 3/20. The deadline was yesterday so I'm sure we'll hear something soon!

We should hear back in a few weeks. How do you check your status by the way? I don't see an application status section on the website.

it says the application status is "complete" for me. It is under the application summary I believe.

When is everyone interviewing? When I logged in there was only one option, so I had to select that (5/30).

Does anyone have any idea of what the post-interview acceptance rate might be? Not sure if they interview a lot of people and it's 50% or lower for a small class of 15, or if they just don't conduct that many interviews?

Honestly, I am confident it's higher post-interview because on the day off, I did not see many people in the interview lobby.

On that note, how do you guys think your interview went?

I thought mine went well. Didn't have any unexpected questions or red flags during the interview.

I agree about post-interview acceptance rate. Interview went well. Hoping to hear back soon. Any idea when we’ll know? It looks like last year decisions came out first couple days of June…

I asked after my interview and one of the Coordinators had said, "two to three weeks."

Hey Guys, I am curious did you guys already take your MCAT and if Yes what was your score range? My MCAT Score is way above the minimum required for the program but I fear it might not be good enough.

I think Dr. Glass had said to be really competitive to "aim for" at least a 510. Anything above a 500 plus a 3.5+ during the first semester will guarantee you an interview.

I wonder why they made the MCAT Mandatory this year and why the threshold for the program is so low(500) if it does not make you competitive for a medical school admission. Should have asked him that day.

Anyways anyone else anxiously waiting for the results? Lol Really hoping we get a call early this week.

Yes! I really just need to know. I hope we find out soon… On another note, I’m retaking my MCAT August 23rd so hopefully I’ll get a really competitive score.

Nothing as of Yet. Still waiting for the call! I think you can call/email the office to check the status and see if we will hear from you anytime soon.

Last year, it took them 11 days to make a decision. Folks interviewed on May 22nd and heard back on Monday June 2nd.

This year, it has been 14 days so far. The wait's getting tough Lol.

Have not heard anything since the call. I have no information or knowledge on anything besides a congratulations call that I’ve been accepted.
