I called AAMC and the very unhelpful rep said that the only address to which I can send my transcripts is the PO box. I need to express mail one of my transcripts through FedEx, and I know from previous threads that there is a street addrsss to send it to...but the rep was very adament that I send it to the PO box. For those of you that used FedEx, what address did you send to?

But... why...?

You need to chill and follow regular protocol that thousands of others have followed. Send it anywhere else and it will probably get thrown to the trash.

FedEx doesn't send to PO boxes, and this is the carrier the school uses to rush transcripts.

Use a different carrier. Get the official transcript directly from your school and ship it yourself using USPS.

If not a joke, ignore this post OP.

Sorry for giving negligent advice. I had no idea that AAMC doesn't allow this. Yes OP disregard my post. But I will admit, the reason I suggested this is because this is what I did for my school about 2 weeks ago and AAMC has marked my transcript as received. Makes no sense. Oh well.

If it was stamped as "Issued to Student", they may reject it when verification starts though.

Blah. The school only uses snail mail apparently, so this was a moot question.
It would be sent from the west coast, which is why I wanted to expedite it. I'm afraid that this would delay my verification past the July 1 release date to schools and for peace of mind, I'd like to be in the first batch...

My school ships via FedEx courier because Canada, I've had friends do the same and using the PO box didn't change anything.

Can they do FedEx SmartPost? It's through FedEx, but then they give it to USPS in town and so they can do P.O. boxes.

As a side note, my school definitely used FedEx for fast shipping, and it definitely was delivered after only a couple of days...and I gave them the P.O box address.
