URGENT: TUNCOM vs AZCOM

Hey everyone! Unexpectedly I received a buzzer beater A to TUNCOM (I live in Las Vegas, NV) when I was getting ready to move to Phoenix. Overall I am very open in terms of which specialty I would like, but am tending to favor a competitive specialty at the moment.

AZCOM
Pros:

• Good reputation
• Excellent match list
• Good rotations ward & preceptor
• More access to research?

Cons:

• Extremely expensive
• Traditional letter grading system / GPA

TUNCOM
Pros:

• P/F grading system (with internal ranking)
• Less stressful
• Still pretty good reputation
• Drastically cheaper (I can live at home and drive)

Cons:

• Not sure of rep head to head between the two?
• Not as much access to research?

Am really torn between the two, would be happy at either and need some advice!

That P/F grading and the fact it’s cheaper and you can commute. I think this is a clear decision to pick TUNCOM!!

TUNCOM for the money and family. Prestige is a non-factor here.
