Hi everyone!
I am currently deciding between UICOM's Peoria campus and Rosalind Franklin, and I would greatly appreciate some insight!
UICOM has a great reputation primarily associated with its Chicago campus but the Peoria campus is predominantly known for its focus on family medicine and is situated in a more rural setting. My main concern is whether the rural setting and focus on family medicine at Peoria might hinder my chances of matching into more competitive specialties. The match list at Peoria with 58-student heavily leans towards family medicine, which might skew perceptions since many opt for this specialty by choice. Rosalind has a surprisingly solid match across various specialties.
