can someone describe the location of a branchial cleft cyst with its signs compared to other most likely tumors in this differential diagnosis. Is it anterior or posterior to the SCM. And which cleft is involved? Thank you in advance.

Anterior to the SCM. Probably arch 2 or 3. Arch 2 is by far the most common.

Remember, thyroglossal duct cysts are medial and branchial cleft cysts are lateral.
