USA immigration policy for Cardiologist

Any feedback on present USA Immigration policy for the acceptance of Cardiologist or Current fellows are with good research back ground under applicant Green Card of EB -1 sub Category a-b OR EB-2

You have to do residency and fellowship here in order to practice cardiology in the U.S. There might be some very, very rare exception type of thing, if one was perhaps a well known faculty cardiologist at some foreign institution who was hired to work in the US at an academic institution...I am not even sure about this exception.

You cannot do all your training in some other country and then get even a medical license to practice here, much less to practice as a specialist.
