USAF Special Pat Brief

Anyone do the USAF All Corps pay brief today? I wasn’t able to attend and don’t have a CAC reader so I can’t see what great tips they have to maximize special pay.

Do a residency, get promoted, sign a 6 year RB?

Eh. They are changing it up just like the Navy and the Army.

Maybe they’ll toss in some more random concurrent ASDO’s like they do if you start fellowship after signing an RB (or like how they let NP’s do), or maybe they’ll let docs sign a new RB at the higher rate.

Or maybe like the Navy they’ll try and pull some wool over our eyes and imply an issue with taxation.

The email just said they’d have “special tips.”

Basically: be sure to submit a contract to get paid.
