Ouch. Well hang in there, sometimes glitches like that happen. I've been patiently waiting as well, but "only" for 8 weeks; it seems like our letters may have been sent out in the same batch. Now we just have to wait for them to traverse the labyrinthine internal mail system and reach home.

All the best!
Thanks, and good luck!

has anyone who interviewed around or after mid-january heard back recently? the wait is excruciating! 😳

interviewed mid feb and am desperately waiting as well!

me too! I was hoping to hear in the next couple of weeks from SC, but it looks like it might be a much longer wait....ugggg 🙁

Yeah from when I last talked to the office of admissions you can start expecting news next week and the week after that.

They told me the admission committee last met March 11th and that mid-January interviewee's may or may not have been discussed so expect a reply in 2 to 3 weeks (as of March 12th).

Hey guys, I just thought I would update the timeline.

I interviewed near the end of January and I heard back last week. Good luck everyone!!

Also, did you receive a letter in the mail, email, or displayed on the status page?

I'm sure it was snail mail. I don't think they e-mail or call or update status page. I interviewed around feb. 20 so I think I should be hearing from them within a week or so.

I'm sure it was snail mail because they don't e-mail or telephone or update status on the interwebs. I interviewed around feb. 20 so hopefully i'll hear back from them soon. I called a couple times and they said watch out for the mail around the 17th or 24th.

It was an acceptance! 😀 I got it through the mail in a business sized envelope. Actually when my parents called me about the mail, they thought it was a rejection and started off the convo with "I think we have some bad news..."

Hopefully everyone will be hearing back soon! Yay USC!

first time poster here...thought I'd contribute to the post. I interviewed 2/13 and heard back today via snail mail. Hope this helps!

Just accepted via snail mail! Interview 2/15!

THey come in small envelopes!
So just FYI- I interviewed Feb 15th, my letter was dated March 14th, and it was post-marked March 18th, and the office said they mailed it March 17th.
Hope that timeline is helpful!
And I live very close to Keck....😀

Just like LadyDoc2 - I also got in yesterday. I interviewed the same day as well. I'm sooooooo happy to have the choice to stay in California if I want to. :hardy:🙂:luck::luck:

I interviewed in early February and got the acceptance today in the Midwest. Good luck to everyone who's still waiting!

i got in today as well in connecticut

Important question: I interviewed in late Jan., am in Florida on spring break and away from my mail. I called to see my status and they said they sent me something on Monday in the mail. Is this defiantly an acceptance, or have they been waitlisting/rejecting people? Thanks.

I am NOT absolutely certain, but i think there is a very very good chance its an acceptance. Someone metioned (and i dont know how accurate this is), that mail=yes, and email= WL/Rejections....

:luck:

I was waitlisted and received a snail mail letter just like everybody else who was accepted. The admissions office said that all the envelopes are small whether they're acceptances, waitlists, or rejections. Hope good luck comes your way

Well, I was finally accepted today (woohoo)... I interviewed on Dec. 5th😱

Anyone know anything about a revist day? There was nothing in my packet letter about it.

I've heard that it's on Apr 25 and that we would be getting an evite for it soon.

Congrats to all those who got accepted recently!

Has ANYONE moved off the waitlist and gotten accepted??? This whole waiting process is killing me...

Hey, just wondering who the evite is sent to... I know that a decision has been made but i haven't received the snail mail yet and the wait is agonizing! In my inbox, I just got an invitation to the "New Student Reception." This seems positive, but I know that some schools also invite waitlistees to 2nd look weekends... I was just wondering whether this is a sure sign that I was accepted or whether people on the wait list were invited to this as well?

btw congrats wombat (and everyone else), definitely worth the wait.

oh, nevermind... i got my answer 👍

i got that evite today also, but still nothing yet in the mail. anyone know if they send those just to people that got accepted, or also to the people waitlisted?

I'm pretty sure the evite is for accepted students. I got one and I was accepted middle last wednesday I think. But I live about 7-10 miles away from the USC health campus. So if you got an evite I would assume you're accepted. Don't quote me.

But either way, see you guys there! If you meet me and you remember my username, you'll know who I am.

Hey, if you follow the link and read at the actual evite it should be pretty clear, unless they messed up.

See you guys there!

i never mentioned it, but I got in! woot. waiting on one last school where I'm on the "high priority" list. Otherwise, I'm at USC!

Hi just withdrew from USC...and I asked politely for a refund for my deposit in my withdraw letter, but they cashed the check a while ago already. does anybody know or has gotten their refund back? Do they mail it to you?

Anyone know when the next round of decisions are being mailed out? I think my interview date (week of 2/18) was just a little too late to be in the last batch. I've been checking my mail compulsively but no new yet. . .

I called, and they said, it is 100% refundable. Not sure how they do it, but I would imagine a check is on the way.

Sorry for the change of topic, but does anyone have any housing advice? I'd like to live in a relatively modern place near the medical campus.

I guess I'm bumping this thread 🙄 Has anyone heard anything lately? Or know anything?

I interviewed in late Feb... and I'm going crazy in anticipation!!

Keck 😍

Keck 😍

When I called Wednesday, Keck said the latest batch of decisions were mailed off Thursday and to expect them in 8-10 days (but they said it depends on USPS) so with luck they should be getting to us this week 🙂

Oh my gosh!! Thank you so much for letting me know! 🙂

You don't wanna live too near. A lot of the kids i guess live in Alhambra which is not modern.

I think the Los Feliz/Silverlake area is cool if you're into the hipster thing.

I'm personally going for the downtown/mid-Wilshire area. There are a lot of bars and stuff around there and you're pretty close to the museums and cultural stuff. I haven't lived in LA for awhile so there might be other cool areas that I'm not familiar with, but check those out.

I just interviewed today... I hope everything went well.... felt good NOW the wait..... the school is awesome⁄!!!!!!!!!! what do you think will I know before May 15th??? ... they interview until april 22nd...... 10 of us were here today..... My dr interviewer said she would fill out on review as soon as I left I hope that was a good sign I hope my student Interviewer does the same.....I need some reasurrance help I have to focus and finish this semester.... This has been the hardest year for my nerves

Has anyone heard anything from Keck lately? I was told letters were mailed out Thursday but with all the bizarreness that's happened to my application (I'm sitting at 13 weeks post-interview) who knows if mine really is in this batch like the Office of Admissions said 😛
