I messed up this academic year badly at USC and am planning to retake 3 science classes : chem 1 (C-), chem 2 (C), and physics 1 (D+). I tried looking up the school policy about retaking courses but couldn't find anything about what would happen to my grades once i retake a course. Does anyone know if in the case that i retake a course, will my transcript only show the updated grade, show both the updated and original grade, or will it show an average of both? (this is my sophomore year so i can't do freshman forgiveness...)

I'd say if they have academic advising, that would be the best place for this to be answered. I know at my school they had grade replacement so that for my school GPA they only counted the replacement grade when calculating GPA. Both grades were on the transcript though. Since both were on the transcript PharmCAS takes into account both grades when calculating GPA. As for USC School of Pharmacy, I'm not entirely sure what they do. Since they have you send them your transcripts, they may or may not take into account the original grade. You could probably talk to Jim Granderson's office about that.
