I agree!!...students have opened up far too many threads on the " same " topics or schools and we got to read each and every thread!!..Kindly all post on relevants threads so that it will help all of us ..instead of opening up new threads on the same topic or school everytime ..just do a search and you can find relevant threads to post .....and many students will be more inclined to help all of us if we post our comments on the same relevant threads instead of opening new ones up EVERYTIME!! 😎

Regarding practical exams ..i think all dexterity tests are tough!!
But CA schools are all asking almost the same things...crowns..pfms..

can someone tell me what to expect on the pratical test. they have wriiten ff will be test for:
(a) fixed prosthodontics (practical);
(b) complete removable prosthodontics (written and practical);
(c) operative dentistry (practical);
(d) spatial relations (practical).
im completely lost 😕 !!!!please someone help me !!!!what are they going want us to write. 🙁

i was told by a former USC dental student that 2 years back they didnt have any written the only had to do an operative procedure and then fixed prosth procedure. she said its prob the same this yr too. anyone who attend the USC interview last yr... pls update us about what to expect in the practical test..please!!!!

Hi Guys.....Congrats on the interview call to USC! It's a great school. I went through the same dilema and questions as you guys are doing this year. This was my experience:
I had a 3 day interview. First day was just an intro to the program and the school. Second day was the PBL interview. Third day was the practical. The practical was on the bench. I bought my instruments and the typodont from the USC bookstore. I know it's expensive, but it's not a dead investment. You will use the same during school as well.

We were asked to do a class 2 on a maxillary premolar, PFM crown on #8 and a MOD onlay on a mandibular molar(#30). Don't stress out, it's not a hard as you think. Good luck to all!
