Was recently accepted into both of these schools but the difference in price is huge. My parents really want me to go to Cincinnati for the cost, but USC is ranked higher, and everyone I have talked to that attended Keck has said the hands-on experience at LAC+USC is second to none. I personally also love L.A. I guess the question here is do you prioritize ranking and prestige or cost when choosing a medical school?

What kind of cost difference are we talking about here?

There is no difference in prestige. Ranking differently doesn’t equal a prestige difference. Once you get beyond the top 20 schools, increases in rankings have a marginal impact

One could even argue that Cincinnati places better because regionally it had a stronger foothold whereas California had UCLA, Stanford, and UCSF
