Use vanity email address for AMCAS?

I have a vanity email address of the form <name>@<full name>.com and a small blog (good and non-controversial, of course!) hosted there as well. Will adcoms care if I use this over my regular .edu address? Will the fact that I have an online presence help my application in any way?
