What undergrad courses can help you do better on the DAT?

Also, how does the verbal part of DAT differ from that of MCAT?

Verbal on the DAT is over sciences based text and there are only three sections where on the MCAT the material can be over anything and there are many more passages that you must complete in the give time (five or six I think, but I am not sure)

Undergrad classes that were helpful: Bio, genetics, G-chem, and O-chem, but all of the material has to be fresh in your mind for the undergrad classes to be helpful for the DAT.

i think any biology course (first and second year) and first year chemistry course will prove very helpful. Organic chem only helps if you are taking the US Dat as the canadian DAT does not have orgo. A kaplan course was of partcular help to me particularly with reading comprehension as I was taught an interesting technique to tackle that section.
