USMLE Usefulness of Pretest Qbooks. Opinions needed

Hi,

So I have 2010 Pretest series of all subjects. I was wondering , do these books actually hold any usefulness regarding step one prep or are they outdated ?

Do they mirror or are any close to step one exam questions ?

I only used them to study for tests during my pre-clinical years. IMO they're too basic for step prep, I would focus on doing actual question banks instead, like USMLERx and Uworld. My USMLE questions were nothing like pretest.
