Hi All,
I just spoke with a classmate who had taken the Aug. MCAT, and was told that one can use the 10 min break as an "additional" 10-mins towards finishing a section (ie. verbal reasoning section). I know that the 10 min break is optional, but I doubt this is true. Still, she's not the type to lie... I just wanted to get a confirmation on whether or not this is true. Let me know by replying in terms of "true" or "false". Thanks!!

When the timer on the computer reaches 0 for a particular section, your time is up. If you choose to skip your 10-min break and start the next section early, you can do so. However, your available testing time will not increase- you'll just finish the entire thing 10/20/30 min earlier because you skipped the breaks (which I do not recommend).

HAHAHA sorry my friend but your buddy is a liar. God I wish we could do that I would used it for some extra time on the PS/VR section.
