using older books (TPR Hyperlearning VB Workbook)

What do you think about using outdated books (2004, 2005, 2006) for the TPR Hyperlearning Verbal workbook?

Is it a big difference with the CBT in place since 2007?

I just finished an old (2004ish?) TPRH verbal workbook. I felt it helped me.
