I've been studying for about 2 weeks now and I basically have TBR and TPR books for all the subjects (except for Bio). This pertains mainly to the PS section (Gen Chem/Physics) because I feel comfortable enough with Orgo.

After going over the same chapters in each book, I feel like I prefer TPR for content review as it feels less dense and burdened with extra information.

However, I'm kind of scared that TPR's content might not be sufficient.

So I was wondering whether it was enough to just review content using TPR and then doing the TBR passages for practice (along with EK1001s and other stuff listed in SN2ed's schedule).

Thank You!

It varies by the individual, but IMO TBR does a better job than TPR as far as content review is concerned.

i would HIGHLY recommend you do this. TPR books have ALL the information you need. TBR is great too but TBR would explain the exact same concept in a 40pg chapter where as TPR does this in 20pg chapter without leaving anything important out. If you are studying from scratch meaning you don't remember much from your pre-med course, then I would favor TBR over TPR for content. But, if you learned the material well in pre-med courses then TPR is an excellent choice. If you do end up using TBR for content, then do NOT use their bio. books. They have way too much info. The MCAT bio has been focusing on less memorization and more critical thinking. To practice this, use TBR passages.

Hey, I am also using TPR for content review and then TBR for passages and any extra review in case a topic doesn't click the first time. I'm curious if anyone has sorted out which TPR chapters correspond to which TBR chapters/passages? I'm just figuring it out as I go but if someone's already organized it all it would be awesome to see how you matched it all up. Thanks!

So far, the chapters match up pretty well imo

Are you using the TPR hyperlearning books for content review or the TPR books for each subject that come with the course (ie gen chem review, organic chem, etc)? I was wondering if there is a major difference?
