USMLE II on 29Aug, Score Today!

Got the sucker back today. I was not dissappointed. My strategy was simply to study very hard for each Shelf exam like it was a board exam. My Shelfs were all above 95% with some 100%. But when it came time to study for boards, I merely read First Aid II over a period of 2 weeks or so. I did not do Qbank, NBME, or anything else. Year III is best taken one Shelf exam at a time. Trust yourself and don't wait until the last minute.

Although -
Do NOT be discouraged if you didn't make those scores on shelf exams. I OFTEN bombed them. For example, I got a 49%tile on psyc. 70 on neuro. I am scared to even ask what i got on medicine. The highest I got was probably an 85 on ob/gyn.
I studied for 4 days a week from 9-2 for 3 1/2 weeks ... did qbank and some usmleworld. and got a 250. (208 on step1)
So don't be discouraged!
